Population dynamics of the invasive upside-down jellyfish (Cassiopea) in Lake Macquarie
We are seeking to determine the spread of upside-down jellyfish in Lake Macquarie, determine what time of year they occur and what is causing their numbers to fluctuate inside the Lake. This is important as it has been documented that upside-down jellyfish have been blooming in Lake Macquarie, and their large numbers can have potential impacts on fisheries, tourism, and the surrounding ecology.
