RP173G Cost effective management to improve land condition
The project aims to improve and inform management practices on properties that are found to have declining cover during times of drought, such as stocking rates and key decisions to take action. Particularly actions, associated costs and the trigger points for the decision to act on changing management or remediation.
The project contributes to the Reef Plan objectives of reduction of sediment from grazing lands by 20% through improved understanding of future investments on management options in specific locations through improved decision making and targeting. It specifically builds on Action 4 of understanding the most cost effective management practices for sediment reductions in grazing.
