TF7.4 Extension to Paddock Monitoring and Modelling to evaluate effectiveness of land management practices
This Project extends and expands on components of the Paddock to Reef Integrated Monitoring, Modelling and Reporting Program to provides evidence of links between on-ground land management practice improvements and subsequent effects on water quality linked to reef health. Paddock monitoring tests the effects of specific land management practices on water quality through a range of paddock trials in various regions. This work also provides new understanding of water quality processes; helps build tools for regional investment priorities and improve the paddock models. This Project is delivering a program of activities that will provide a continuation or expansion of the activities under the paddock monitoring and modelling component of the Paddock to Reef program. This will advance knowledge of sediment, nutrient and pesticide movement from the paddock under different management practices to evaluate their effectiveness
