Indigo Roadside Connections - People and Biodiversity
Roadside connections are a vital part of our diverse landscape and play a key role in our local biodiversity health. Without these important links within the modified landscape of agricultural production we risk losing the many birds, reptiles and bees that could be vital to the region's food security. This project aims to develop people's understanding of why roadside vegetation is valuable and how it can be improved. The project has identified 4 roadside areas with varying conservation value and will develop systems of management to improve or maintain the level of biodiversity at each demonstration site.
