Hort360 GBR BMP (Horticulture Best Management Practice) (Hort360 Great Barrier Reef Best Management Practice)
Project aim: This project sets out to promote and deliver horticulture best management practices, across the Great Barrier Reef catchments, to deliver environmental sustainability and reef water quality outcomes relating to the reduction in sediment, chemical and nutrient loads from horticultural lands. From 2018-2022 the project will engage and build grower capacity and education through effective extension mechanisms (including communications, engagement and 1:1 facilitation) and will develop and trial a certification pathway that meets reef water quality objectives.
