RP190 Stewardship indicators for the Human Dimensions baseline
This project aims to identify a set of indicators associated with a culture of innovation and environmental stewardship, and other key human dimensions of relevance among landholders. These indicators will be used to provide a ‘human dimensions’ baseline measure for the Reef 2050 WQIP.
The project involves 3 main stages:
1. Review of academic literature to conceptualise a model and propose a set of indicators. This step will address the question “What should we measure?”
2. Review of secondary data and reports to map and then synthesise existing data onto the proposed set of indicators. This step will address the questions “What do we already measure?” and “What does it tell us?”
3. Identify and propose a set of recommendations for deploying or improving a ‘human dimensions’ baseline measurement system. This step will address the question “How can we improve our measurement?” and “What do we need to keep measuring in future”?
