RRC03 Wet Tropics Healthy Waterways Partnership
The Wet Tropics Healthy Waterways Partnership (Partnership) was launched in June 2016 as a collaboration between community, industry, agriculture, fishers, Traditional Owners, research organisations, tourism and government. The Partnership brings together Partnership representatives interested in the health of the nine regional basins (Daintree, Mossman, Barron, Mulgrave, Russell, Johnstone, Tully, Murray and Herbert), eight estuaries, and coastal and marine environments to the eastern boundary of the Great Barrier Reef through open and honest communication built on rigourous scientific based decision to continuously improve the regional report card and informing the community with up to date information.
