RRC04 Fitzroy Partnership for River Health
The Fitzroy Partnership for River Health commenced in 2012 as a formal collaboration between governments, industry, community and research organisations with an interest in the health of the waterways of the Fitzroy Basin. The purpose of the FPRH is to develop and implement an integrated waterway monitoring program that will report publicly on waterway health at the catchment scale, and support improved water resource management by sectors. The scope of these activities includes groundwater, rivers, off-stream, wetlands and estuaries in the Fitzroy Basin and near-shore coastal and marine environments.
