This project will utilise modern development and extension methodologies to deliver the following objectives:
a) Undertake 24 field demos over three years that target growers in Wet Tropics to facilitate practice change in pesticide application to reduce offsite movement.
b) Benchmark all growers for current practice and survey to understand barriers to adopting new practices
c) Survey non-participants as a control group for comparison
d) Identify why spray equipment purchased through Reef Rescue grants are not being utilised and optimise their performance and use with 7 grower groups to maximise productivity and environmental benefits.
